- Public library employees can now unionize.
- If you were wrongly convicted of a crime, the State may now have to pay you.
- Assisted living facilities are now subject to a “Resident’s Bill of Rights.”
- Employers can’t retaliate against employees who complain or testify against them.
- By the end of 2026, every county in Maryland will have outpatient mental health treatment programs.
- Vaping is now prohibited on public transportation and in certain public indoor areas.
- Some inherited property may now be exempt from certain property taxes.
